Urbis Exhibition



Liz Parker from Year one has exhibited some of her work at Urbis in Manchester. Here is a picture of the Preview Night and if you look to the right of the picture you can see Liz's wolf head and and signature red hand prints!

WINNER!



Pete Adlington from Year 3 has won first prize in the annual Penguin design/illustration competition. He will be invited to spend six weeks at Penguin in the design studio on a work placement in London. He will also receive a cash prize of £1,000. Well done Pete!

Ok, for those of you interested in 50's style/contemporary illustration, if you haven't already had a look at this blog site then you are a fool...

Their latest addition looks like it would've been useful to a few people on the 1st year part at least but I just love how you can stumble across various artists and the use of illustration in different contexts here :)
